Walnut Blondie w/ Maple Butter
I believe this is a knock-off recipe of Applebees White Blondie.
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup flour sifted
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg beaten
1 TB vanilla
1/2 cup white choc. chips
1/3 cup butter, melted
Add soda, powder, and salt to flour. Sift again. Add nuts, mix well.
Add sugar to melted butter, add egg and vanilla, mix well. Add flour to mixture a little at a time until mixed well. Stir in choc. chips.
Spread dough over 9'' pan. Bake at 350° for 20-25 min.
Maple Butter Sauce
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
In pan, add syrup and butter. Cook over low heat until butter is melted. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add walnuts if desired.
